Brian Mandela

Brian Mandela Onyango, born on July 24, 1994, in Nairobi, is a Kenyan professional footballer who plays as a central defender. He began his career in Kenya with clubs like Posta Rangers and Tusker before moving to South Africa in 2012. There, he played for Santos, then became a key figure at Maritzburg United. His strong performances earned him a move to Mamelodi Sundowns, where he won several league titles. In 2024, he joined Stellenbosch FC but parted ways with the club in 2025. Known for his physical strength, tactical awareness, and composure on the ball, Mandela has also been a regular member of the Kenyan national team, earning over 35 caps since his debut in 2011.
